Rules Text
A Dragonmark Outpost is an area set aside for the use of your dragonmarked house. The hireling is a house agent and serves as a liaison between you and your superiors in the house.
When you add this facility to your Bastion, your Renown Score with your house increases by 1.
Dragonmark Empowerment (Requires Any Dragonmark Feat)
When you finish a Long Rest in your Bastion, you gain one extra spell slot of level 2. You can use this spell slot to cast only a spell you have prepared because of a Dragonmark feat.
Empower: House Favor
When you issue the Empower order to this facility, you instruct your hireling to call in a favor from your dragonmarked house. You can use any benefit of your house that your Renown Score affords you (as described in chapter 5), and this favor doesnāt count against the total number of favors available to you. Once you use this feature, you canāt use it again until your Renown Score with your house increases.
Balance Notes
- Compare this facility against other 5-level facilities before allowing homebrew upgrades.
- Keep the listed Bastion order as the primary action loop; additional benefits should usually be narrative, temporary, or gated by downtime.
- If this facility grants creatures, information, resources, crafted items, or empowerment, keep those outputs tied to Bastion turns rather than free adventuring actions.
