Cultural descriptions
- Chakram: a bladed circular thrown weapon. Its Return mastery represents the specialist technique of bringing it back after striking an enemy.
- Dorata (singular: dory): an ash-wood spear.
- Honorblade: a massive sword originally forged for one-handed use by gygans; humans of sufficient strength now wield it two-handed.
- Kopis: a forward-curving shortsword weighted toward the blade tip, giving it axe-like cutting power.
- Makhaira: a longsword with a single curved blade and a flat upper edge.
Notes on provenance
Confirmed: the local Odyssey of the Dragonlords player material describes Thylean cultural weapons, including chakram, dorata, kopis, and makhaira. The Foundry implementation above additionally records the custom Honorblade and its D&D 2024 mechanics.
Adaptation: Weapon Mastery assignments and the statistics table are campaign implementation data from 2026-09-07, not a transcription of the older local source material.
